First United Methodist Church supports the United Methodist Hour, a weekly television program dedicated to spreading the gospel in Mississippi. Our church has a prayer chain of individuals to pray for the concerns and needs of the congregation and the community. We have a fellowship of secret families who do special things for one another anonymously throughout the year. The church’s Shepherd Ministry is made up of men who help out senior members of the congregation with tasks they cannot readily accomplish on their own and provide transportation for seniors when the need arises.
